"Feels like the basics are locked away"
I wanted to like it, but its frustrating when almost every useful feature is behind a paywall. I dont mind paying for extra stuff, but the basic things shouldnt feel locked from the start.
"Kinda made my server feel dead tbh"
I tried mee6.xyz for a bit, it didn’t really do much for our community. People were into the leveling thing for like five minutes, then just stopped caring. The bot messages got kinda annoying too, like lowkey spammy. Instead of making the chat feel more active, it made everything feel less natural...

"Mee6 raid protection didn’t really work for me"
I tried using Mee6 for raid protection, but it didn’t help as much as I expected. From my experience, the spam checks still missed a bunch of stuff, and raids were able to get through anyway. Maybe it works better for other servers, but for me, it felt unreliable.

"Gets laggy on bigger servers"
so I’ve been using mee6 on a server with around 80k members, and it feels slow a lot of the time. Commands will hang, level updates show up late, and when chat gets busy it sometimes seems to miss stuff altogether.
It’s fine if you just need basic features, but for a server that size I expected it to run a bit smoother. Support wasn’t terrible or anything, but they didn’t really help much with the lag problems.
"Welcome messages were a buggy mess"
I tried using mee6.xyz for welcome and goodbye messages, it was kind of a pain in the ass. Sometimes the messages just didn’t send, other times they showed up late like the bot forgot what its one job was. The settings were confusing too, which made the whole thing even more annoying. For something this basic, it really shouldn’t be such a hassle
"Keeps going offline"
I wanted to like it but the bot kept going down way too much. Commands would just stop working out of nowhere, and the status page didnt really tell me anything useful. After waiting around too many times, I just removed it.

"I really wanted to like mee6.xyz, and..."
I really wanted to like mee6.xyz, and I was in a patient mood when I first set it up, but the integrations just haven’t been reliable for me.
Things would randomly stop syncing or take forever to update, so I kept going back through the settings thinking I must have missed something. Some days it worked fine, then the next day it would just stop doing what it was supposed to do.
The support pages didn’t help me much either. For a bot that’s supposed to make managing a server easier, it ended up giving me more stuff to troubleshoot, so it’s not really worth it for my setup.

"so custom commands feel way too limited"
so I tried using the custom commands, but they just don’t feel flexible enough for what I need. I was hoping for more options and control, but it feels limited overall...

"Good first impression, but feels limited"
My first impression of MEE6 was positive because the setup was quick and easy. I didn’t have to spend much time figuring out how to get it running. After that, though, I started running into a few options that felt a little confusing, and some basic features seemed like they were locked behind upgrades. It does the job and works fine, but based on that smooth start, I was expecting it to feel a bit more complete.

"I tried mee6 for the leaderboard feature in..."
I tried mee6 for the leaderboard feature in my server, thinking it would make people more active—well, not really active, just more spammy. Everyone started sending random messages just to get XP, and it got annoying to manage fast. it didn’t feel worth using at all

"I waited a few days to hear..."
I waited a few days to hear back and, when they finally responded it still didn’t really help. Like... I get that support teams can be busy, but I was left hanging and didn’t feel like my issue actually got addressed.

"I tried using Mee6 for automod on my..."
I tried using Mee6 for automod on my server, and it became more of a headache than a help. It kept calling out totally normal messages while somehow letting the stuff we actually needed caught slip through. I ended up spending more time cleaning up false warnings than moderating anything. Maybe it works better on some servers, but for us it really didn’t feel accurate, and it kind of makes you wonder how much real testing went into it.

"Permissions felt way too messy"
I tried setting up mee6 on my Discord server, the permissions part was a pain. I kept running into issues where commands wouldn’t work unless I gave the bot way more access than I felt comfortable with. To me, a tool like this should be clear and only ask for what it actually needs, especially when it’s managing a community space. Roles were acting weird, things failed without much explanation, and after a while it just felt more stressful than helpful. Maybe other people have better luck with it, but for me it wasn’t worth the time...

I tried using the role rewards, but it did not work for me. I expected it to be straightforward, and it was frustrating when it kept messing up instead.

"I tried using MEE6 for my small..."
I tried using MEE6 for my small Discord server, the free plan feels kinda useless now. A bunch of the basic stuff I thought I’d be able to use is locked behind premium, and it keeps nudging you to upgrade, which got annoying real quick.
I totally get that paid plans are a thing, but for a simple bot, this felt way too restrictive. I ended up ditching it and going with other bots that let me do more without making me pay right off the bat...

Tried MEE6 for my server. Meh. Spam still got through. Warnings felt random. Normal messages got flagged too. Setup was confusing. I spent more time fixing it than using it. Not for me

"I’ve played games like this before where leveling..."
I’ve played games like this before where leveling had a decent flow, but this one just feels really broken. The XP gain seems way too low, and leveling takes forever without feeling like you’re actually getting anything worthwhile for the time you put in.

"I tried mee6 for a while, but the..."
I tried mee6 for a while, but the whole data/privacy thing just didn’t sit right with me. I was trying to figure out what data gets kept or shared, and I just— I couldn’t really get a clear answer from the info they provide. For a bot used in a server with a bunch of people, that feels important. I ended up removing it because I didn’t feel like I could fully trust it.

"The docs honestly made things worse"
I went in hoping the docs would clear things up, but they mostly just left me more confused. A lot of the tutorials felt outdated, and when I tried to follow along, the steps didn’t really match what I was seeing. Maybe there’s useful info buried in there somewhere, but my experience was frustrating.

"Premium just doesn’t feel worth it anymore"
I’ve used MEE6 for a while, the premium pricing feels a bit too steep to me now. From my perspective, too many features that feel basic are locked behind the paywall. For a smaller server like mine, it just doesn’t seem worth paying that much
